An urge is a feeling, not an instruction.
When gambling feels tempting, take a moment. Spin for a small, practical activity — or skip straight to support. You don’t have to do this alone.

A note from Enya ♡Hi, I'm Enya.
I'm 21, and I've started sharing my experience of gambling addiction and recovery online because I want people to know they're not alone.
For a long time, gambling affected much more than my bank balance. It took up my attention, influenced my decisions and became something I tried to hide, even while I was still going about everyday life.
Why I made this
One of the hardest moments can be when the urge to gamble appears and you don't know what to do with yourself. Someone in my community suggested a wheel of alternatives, and that idea inspired this little space.
This isn't a cure or professional treatment. It's a free place to find one small action to try, take a moment and remember that you have options.
One urge at a time. You don't have to do it alone. ♡
Explore all 23 activities
You can choose an activity directly. You don't have to spin.
Need more than a distraction?
It's okay if an urge doesn't pass quickly. Consider contacting someone you trust and keeping gambling blocks in place. If you are in Great Britain, the National Gambling Helpline can help.

Created from lived experience and a community suggestion, The Urge Reset offers gentle alternatives when gambling urges appear. It is not therapy or a substitute for specialist support.
